Proyek Trans-ASEAN Gas Pipeline (TAGP) merupakan inisiatif strategis ASEAN dalam mendorong integrasi energi kawasan melalui pembangunan jaringan pipa gas lintas negara. Proyek ini mencerminkan upaya kolektif negara-negara Asia Tenggara dalam memperkuat ketahanan energi, meningkatkan konektivitas energi, dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada sumber energi eksternal. Indonesia, sebagai negara dengan cadangan gas alam terbesar di ASEAN dan posisi geografis yang strategis, memainkan peran kunci dalam mendorong realisasi proyek ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi diplomasi energi Indonesia dalam kerangka proyek TAGP serta meninjau posisi tawar Indonesia dalam konteks kerja sama energi regional. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur dan analisis kebijakan, penelitian ini menelusuri dinamika diplomasi energi Indonesia, termasuk peran Kementerian ESDM, ASEAN Centre for Energy (ACE), dan partisipasi aktif Indonesia dalam penyusunan ASEAN Plan of Action for Energy Cooperation (APAEC). Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Indonesia memiliki potensi besar untuk menjadi simpul utama jaringan pipa gas ASEAN, terdapat tantangan seperti harmonisasi regulasi, isu infrastruktur domestik, dan fluktuasi pasar energi global yang masih perlu diatasi. Temuan ini memperkuat pentingnya strategi diplomasi energi yang adaptif dan kolaboratif dalam membangun integrasi energi kawasan yang berkelanjutan.
